====== ANSYS Electronics Desktop / Electromagnetics Suite Licensing ======

If you are experiencing problems with ANSYS Electronics Desktop licensing please follow the steps below:

  - Verify that your software version is at least Release 2020 R1. Select **Help**->**About ANSYS Electronics Desktop**:\\ {{:knowledge-base:windows-topics:ansys1.png?500|}}\\ If the software is older, please contact [[eecs-ithelp@utk.edu]] to request an upgrade. Be sure to let us know which system you are using.
  - Once you are running at least Release 2020 R1, please go to the **Tools** menu and select **Options**->**General Options**:\\ {{:knowledge-base:windows-topics:ansys2.png?600|}}
  - Select **Use Electronics Pro, Premium, Enterprise product licensing**:\\ {{:knowledge-base:windows-topics:ansys3.png?600|}}
  - Hit OK and restart ANSYS Electronics Desktop.
